Designing a week of wellness visits that people look forward to

Movement, nutrition and company, arranged so a week feels like a life rather than a schedule.

Wellness visits fail when they feel clinical. They succeed when they anchor to something the person already loves — a garden, a walking route, a radio programme, a grandchild's football match.

We build a week with three shapes: a moving visit, a nourishing visit and a social visit. The moving visit is gentle strength and balance work. The nourishing visit is cooking together, not cooking for.

The social visit is the one families underrate and clients rank highest. Conversation is a clinical intervention; loneliness is a clinical risk.

Small, consistent and enjoyable beats intensive and dreaded every single time.
